Will my Treo see and use a 4GB SDHC card?

Using Treo 680.

I have the Treo 680 and am looking at a 4GB SD card. The Palm datasheet says it will accept a 4GB SD card but does not mention the SDHC. I don't know much about the difference between the SD and SDHC and what I've read so far doesn't help me answer the above question.

So, will my Treo 680 see and use an SDHC card?

Here's a link to the unlocked GSM update 1.12 (http://www.palm.com/us/support/downloads/treo680update/unlockedgsm.html) which promises:

Supports larger expansion cards – Supports up to 4GB SD expansion cards (including the SDHC format), sold separately.

The Treo 680 can use a 4 gig SDHC out-of-the-box.

How about a Tungsten E? I've been through the manual and it doesn't give specs on the biggest SD card capacity.

I don't see much regular size SD cards any more- they seem to be going to micro-SD. ( too easy to lose, IMO.)

I beg to differ, but I have several 2Gb SD cards that I use with my T|E without any problems. Maybe having the SDIO update installed helps.

Does the Treo650 can use same above solution for 4GB SDHC of SD card?
