Spam reporting thread

I've noticed a huge surge in spam posts on here in the last month, so I thought I'd try to help out the moderators by supplying a thread where people can post links to spam posts. Just add a link to the post in the thread; that should make it easy for the mods to find them and remove the posts/users/IPs.

Mods, please remove any links/this thread if you find it more annoying than hunting the spam by yourselves.

No need to go to this trouble. Do you see the red triangle in the lower left of every post? That's the bad post reporting tool. It sends email with a link immediately to all mods and admins.

Our main problem are actually spam *within* posts. New spam threads are always seen while those within are not.

Good thing we have members who regularly report these in-thread links!

Silly me; I thought that was for other abuses, not spam (have no idea why).

And this is all documented too. Feel free to delete this thread once you feel enough people have read it :)

It's so annoying. The bot or person posts some general comment like, "nice work!" and then in their sig lines or a little lower in the post is some commercial/junk with a link.

But they're more fun to dissect and torture. Especially when you catch them in the act.
