I have had difficulty getting NetFront v3 working properly since I purchased my NZ90. The first web page I open via the URL tab works fine, but any link off the inital page that I click to.... comes up as garbage. I was wondering if anyone here has seen the same thing or if it is a setting I should change? (even thou I have played with every possible combination). I have tried 20 different web pages and always the same thing. I even updated to the latest build of NF - I got the link here ;). Still no good.
I would appreciate any help.
Thanks in advance.

What page are you accessing? I've never had a problem accessing web pages using Netfront on my NZ and my Nokia 3650. I will occassionally get a 'page too large' but no garbage at all.

BTW, did you try clearing the cache and reloading the page?

I have been using my NZ90 with a Nokia 6310i with bleutooth. I have not seen any problems like you have mentioned here. I have seen an issue with netfront when I try to open my comcast web email. When I click the link that normally opens my email It says "cannot open an other window" Has anyone experienced before? It looks like some limitation of netfront

'cannot open another window' comes up when the webpage tries to open a popup window - so a blessing not a limitation!

NetFront, the NZ90 and the T68i work well together for me, but you might also want to check out WebPro as an alternative browser - I'm impressed with its speed and versatility.

To unregistered guest.
Yes I would agree with you if it wasn't for the fact that this technology is also used for usefull things like email and or calender info.

Does anyone know of any other browsers besides netfront for Palm. I used to use a pocket pc with a bluetooth card, and when i surfed with mobile internet explorer the page would load to mobile editions whenever possible. It made the whole handheld internet thing a breeze. So are there any settings like that? I love my Nz90 though

Yeah, I'm having the same problem with Netfront (NX70v + BT MS + T39m). Sometimes if I clear the cache and reload I get the page to load in, but more often than not it's nothing but garbage. If there's a solution to this, I'd love to hear it! Until then I'll have to use my sturdy-and-reliable-but-seriously-ugly copy of Blazer.

It's free if your a Sprint PCS costumer and you download it from Sprint.
Otherwise you can find it on PalmGear or the Handspring Visor site. It's not free, but when I used the trial vs the purchased version, I saw no difference, so I wonder. In any case it's free to try.

One way to get rid of the garbage and to increase the speed of the internet is to actually disable the T-mobile internet accelerater.
Their tech supprot even told me that my Netfront browser would not work with t-mobile (USA). Once I disabled their accelerator i was up and running.
Of course you wont be browsing at Wi-Fi speed :-)

I have not encounted the garbage you mentioned and I'm also using the latest NF with T68i via bluetooth and an NZ90.

I got it to work! The problem was that I was given the wrong proxy server from both support ("use getmorespeed.voicestream.com") and the website ("use getmorespeed.tmobile.com")...
The only address that works is "getmorespeed.t-mobile.com" on port 8080.
I found that with NetFront (v1.1.35) there was no cases of garbage once the proxy was configured properly. In fact, I've even left the acceleration on at PDA settings and the connection is great. Finally!

Where and how do I configure the proxy? I just shut off the Accelerator to connect.
The speed is rather slow.

Select "Options -> NetFront Settings" from the menu bar and go to page 2 of 4 -- there should be a checkbox for "Use Proxy". Check this on and enter "getmorespeed.t-mobile.com" for the address and "8080" for the port.

Thanks! Did that and my browser simply froze, refused to refresh pages or browse.
That Accelerator seems to work like a brake for me. Any ideas what could be wrong ?

Have anybody tried dialing to a GPRS service where the number is alphabets eg 'internet' instead of number '#9**21#' ?
Tried to setup the call but it refuses to dial. Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers
