I have successfully deconverged from a Treo back to a T3 and Motorola Razr V3xx mobile phone. I really enjoyed using my Treo and it worked like a champ. I just began to realize that I wasn't using it much since I got my Asus Eee PC. I bought a T3 off of ebay. Really great condition. It may need a battery at some point soon, but don't they all? I think the T3 is probably the best PDA that Palm ever produced and I am glad to be back using one. My wife inherited my old one when I moved to the Treo and she wouldn't give it back. I love the screen, the speed . . . . and JackSprat! First thing was to remove DTG, Versamail, Quickstart, and the extra languages. I haven't used JackFlash to put anything back in flash, but I probably will soon.
I think the biggest thing I am going to miss from the Treo is the keyboard. I had to think about graffiti for a couple of minutes and I still have to work on remembering some of the punctuation. But it's coming back to me.

I anticipate there will be many who eventually make their way back to the PDA after their courtship with smartphones wear off. I agree that the Tungsten Line are the best PDA's Palm put out. Among the several PDA's I own I have both a T1 and a T2. Even though the TX is my main PDA, I often carry the T2 around instead because of it's size, vibrating alarms, blinking LED light, better digitizer, and loud speaker. One of these days I'll probably pick up a T3 as well. Even though I prefer the TX's 320X480 screen and Wifi capabilities, it just feels cheap in comparison to the Tungsten series devices.
