I was told by Palm Product Information that I may need third-party software for the 680 to record cell conversations and to do "blacklisting". For those who might not know what "blacklisting" is, it is the ability to add numbers to a black list and have calls coming from those numbers go directly to voicemail insteading of ringing my phone.

There is a plethora of software offered that supposedly do these things; but, I've been burned in the past by software that doesn't work well or doesn't work at all so I'm asking first-hand information from users who have had good/bad experience with various programs.

Thanks for reading this.

I use CallRec for recording calls, and like it very much, I also use it to record meetings, the sound is excellent, very simple to use, plus a conduit which syncs the audio to my desktop.
I use CallBlock to blacklist callers, it can not only send unwanted callers to voice mail, but it has an option to simply hang up on them as well, so people I don't really want to hear from can't even leave me a message!

Thanks, I looked it up and found a customer review.

I saw a couple of complaints that it will not record both sides of a conversation when bluetooth ear piece is used. I use my bluetooth ear piece 100% of the time so CallRec is out.

Thanks again.
