Can any one shed some light on how to get your memory stick to appear on the desktop? I am using OS10.2 jag with palm desktop 4.1 and missing sync 3.06. Every time I hit the MS Import icon on my Clie NZ90, I get nothing on my screen and my clie is frozen and I have to soft reset it to carry on! Very disturbed by all this as i would like to bwe able to use my itunes and iphoto with my memory stick. Any ideas welcome

What memory stick are you using?
If it's the MS Pro stick, then you need to download the MS Pro driver from Sony's European Support Site.
I am NOT a MAC person, specialize in Windoze only :)

Probably an obvious reason, but did you remember to install the MS Export first? According to the manual, MS import is installed on you PDA itself at the factory, but the MS export must be installed from the Clie Utilities section of the installation CD for it to work with your computer.

Welcome to the forum! I've found more answers to questions here than with Sony Technical Support.
In answer to your question, no, you don't need the MS Pro driver with that Memory Stick. Is your MS Import working well now?

Thanks for the message Clie mama
No my MS import is not working at all I can hot sync ok but when I hit the MS import onn my clie my machine crashes! I can't instal MS export on my Mac as it is not compataible. Missing sync 3.06 is supposed to solve all these problems, but it doesn't. HELP! Anybody walked my road and found the solution?

I don't think MS Export is required on the desktop to get MS Import to work. Unfortunately, I'm not a Mac person either. On the Windows platform, MS Import has no trouble connecting to the desktop.
Maybe it's not compatible with Mac?
