I've managed to get the wireless card to work.
I can connect directly to the router and configure it's settings.
I can connect to the internet if i specify full ip information (address, mask, gateway, primary AND secondary DNS) as well as the SSID of the network.
However, when I try "Any", the "Connecting..." screen appears, followed by "Connecting Network..." then "Retrying..." either forever or until an error flashes for a moment then dissapears.
I've had this problem before, many many times, but I can't recall how I ever got around it as I never have discovered the source of this problem. Each solution has been different: reinstalling the wifi driver, copying it instead of using the installer, using the hacked driver, hard reset and full system reinstall, deleting all wireless configurations and making a new one, soft reset, pulling the card out during "Connect..." and then shoving it back in, trying to connect with a CF Memory card first then switching to the WiFI after an error, etc etc etc..... at one time or another, each of those things has solved this problem... but none of them lead me to any kind of answer, and none of them worked today (it's quite rare for any of these solutions to work twice)...
Why is it that once in a while my Clie just gives up on finding routers/adhocs on it's own? Is there anything I can do about this?
