I just did the USB power mod and it works fine when I hook it up to the USB port of my laptop, but disappointingly enough it doesn't work with the various 5V USB chargers I have lying around. I'm guessing it's because they don't output enough mA; the PEGA-AC10 outputs 5V, 2000mA whereas the ones I have output only around 50-300mA. Anyone know of a USB charger that would work with the Clie?

Hmm, it actually works with a 6V USB charger I have lying around, although I'm slightly worried that it may damage the unit (PEGA-AC10 outputs 5.2V). The 6V charger only outputs 300mA though, compared to the 2000mA of the PEGA-AC10. It's very compact with the retractable USB cord and the small 6V charger (which is actually a charger for a generic MP3 player).

I busted open my PEGA-AC10, cut off the original charging wire and replaced it with a USB lead:

Since then, I have cut out a section of the PEGA-AC10 casing, stripped down a USB-A female port and wired that into the PEGA-AC10 housing (replacing the USB lead in the above picture) so that I can use the unit to charge both my UX50 and also my NWA-3000 MP3 player.
