Those of you that did submit the crap for this rebate, did you submit the original UPC from the box or just a copy of it?

Yea, I received it and I cut out the UPC from the box. Although, I think I read a post awhile ago from someone who didn't have to send the UPC =\. It's not a bad case, it fits the clie pretty snugly. The only gripe that I have about it is the metal clasp that closes it. I don't face the screen towards it, even though the cloth covers the material, because I don't wanna take any risks. 45 dollars?! I don't know if it's worth that much. It doesn't really do anything other than protect the clie from dust and scratches. No memory stick storage, no nothin'. I'd rather buy a covertec or bellagio for less. BUT, this WAS included in the purchase of the Clie, so whatever....

I received my Sony case a few weeks ago. I'm giving it my daughter. You have to take your Clie out of the case to use it. I had already gotten my Bellagio case, which works much better for me.

Kinda figured that it's not the best case to get. But it's a case. Will probably start looking for a better one before it comes.

Methinks it was just a pre-christmas promotion.  Go to Sonystyle.com and see if there's a rebate form you can download.

I got it here (www.bellagiodesigns.com). I really like it. It's smaller than the notebook style leather case I was previously using. I can still put my Clie in my pocket and feel like it's well protected. I did a lot of comparison shopping and this is one of the few cases that you can sync in the cradle while still in the case.

Got my case yesterday. You'll see it on eBay soon. It is very nice leather, but not very practical for everyday use. You have to pull the unit out to use it. I like the stock cover better, just flip and go. I noticed that Sony gave 2 versions, a snap closure, and a velcro version. Mine has a snap.

I wonder if the snap version went with SJ20, and velcro with SJ30?

Does anyone know of a leather flip-style cover similar to the one the SJ's shipped with? I waited so long for the Sony case, that I got used to the original flip. I'd like a nicer leather version though.

No. All USA promo cases are the same-w/snap

I'm really starting to get mad. I bought my sj20 on dec 5th and sent my rebate off right away.. it's February already and no case. What's up with Sony? Anyone know a number that I can call and yell at someone?

I was just wondering, because I saw a bunch of "genuine Sony" velcro closure cases on eBay.  It looked identical to the one they sent for my SJ20, except for the snap.  The listing said it was from an SJ30 rebate.

My vote was NO before.. but now I've received my free rebate case from Sony.

Only took 4 weeks to get it.. far shorter than the expected 6-8 weeks the rebate said it would take.

I'm very pleased with it and tossed out plans of buying the DSI case after I found I really am pleased with this free leather case after all... very happy with it.
