my lifedrive microdrive was broken help me

i think micro drive was broken it still on palmlogo interface
not boot to program
and i put microdrive out and use it whith card reader it did not
read and has sound squack
i want to ask a few question

1 if i buy cf card and buy program power drive is it fix problem and i can use
it again
2 is it has something that copy from md to cf . i cant do it becuase my md
was broken
3 if it has where i down load it is it shareware or free ware or any one has
4 did someone can fix it and change md to cf how about all of it cost
i will send palm to you to repare
5 can i fix it by my self
