The battery on the my N760 is draining very fast nowadays. It seems that I can only get 1-2 days before I need to recharge it. Does anyone know a way to fix this? Any suggestions? Please let me know. Thanks.

Do you overclock your Clie?

I have the same problem. I do use IR a bit (IR to a phone using GPRS to get mail) but even so, it should last a bit longer

I too had the problem with the N760c battery discharging in a day (Even without use!). Unfortunately, I can't tell you which of the following things fixed the problem, because I did them all at the same time ;-) but it's been over 24 hours (it used to die in that length of time), and I've used the clie several times, and the battery is still full!
Set the screen brightness to a little over half.
Under Prefs:
General
1) Deselected "stay on in cradle"
2) Beam Receive to "off"
Jog
1) Deselected "Power On with BACK button.
2) Set Extended push of BACK button to "Power Off"
Checked the position of the "Hold" switch to make sure it was fully off.
I also downloaded and installed:
1) Beam Off - a free utility that corrects a quirk in the N760c where Beam Receive may be reset to "on" after a hotsync.
2) HiBattery (This also requires Xmaster) - a free battery monitoring program
You can find the software at: http://www.palmblvd.com/index.html
Finally, I charged the clie for several hours, and hit the reset button while it was in the cradle. (The reset trick alone did NOT help anything before.)
Hope this helps!

sounds like battery memory.
try completely discharging the battery. This takes several hours..
go to some place where you can enter text.
write: (shortcut) . 1
(shortcut) is the backward cursive "L"
this will tell the palmpilot to stay on and await a connection to a low level debugger, which will keep the palm on until it dies of insufficient power. After you charge it up for 4 hours, it should be as good as new :)

If it dies of low power, won't I have to re-sync to get all the data back? Or take a backup to a memory stick before I do this?
