Alternatives to PSI packager?

Does anyone know of some alternatives to the Palm PSI packager and the Nutshell packager? I'm looking for something that will package up a set of files to install on RAM and create an external directory tree on the SD card, and populate it with files. The ability to add filetype associations would also be a plus.

i have on that does the prc extraction to ram, but not vfs. though it can be added easily. if you want i can throw the sources your way

I'm actually mostly asking for Tinnus, as he's been having problems with PSI. If you could throw the sources to him and Henk, I think they'd appreciate it.
