Just yesterday I was using my UX50 in the cradle and I put it aside, turning it off. When I picked it up again, the power light was completely off and it wouldn't respond at all, not even to a hard reset! I couldn't get the power light to turn on at all, even with it sitting in the cradle.

I figured the thing was dead and was getting ready to take it apart and check the battery, but I searched around on here for the dead UX50 threads and found one where a guy mentioned that his UX50 had died from switching the power switch into "Hold" and then hitting the Capture/Rec button. I tried it, and my Clie made a noise and came back to life!

I just tried doing the Hold and Capture/Rec thing again and while it didn't kill the UX50, it made the power button flash green and orange several times. Does anyone know the reason behind this bizarre behavior? I don't really remember hitting the Capture/Rec button before but it's possible I might have accidentally hit it or something...
