OMG. The screw in my UX50 are just randomly unscrewing. I already lost two screws :'( Is there anyway to stop it? And also where would I get those really small screws? The One in the twist hinge and on the sides of the screen?
Thanks,
Bensawsome

Weirdly this seems to happen every couple of months, especially if you twist the screen fully into tablet mode frequently. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any way to stop this happening, so you will have to remember to tighten them every now and then. Have a word with DanT about screws to replace those you are missing.

To prevent randomly unscrewing you can add a drop of nail polish ( ask your girlfriend or sister for it :) ) at the screws and screw them in... In future you'll need to make an effort to unscrew them again...

The other thing to use is a glue called "Loctite". Some formulation are designed to prevent nuts working loose from bolts due to vibration and others increase the friction without actually gluing it permanently to the unit.

The other nice thing about this glue is that you can break the glue when you unscrew the nut or screw and it won't leave a mess.
Some shops selling sunglasses and correction lenses use this on their screws since they are so small and when you lose them, you really lose them!
