I bought Core Player on PalmGear.com, and now I want to upgrade, but can not do that from palmgear / pocketgear. And I asked pocketgear customer support about what to do, here is pocketgears answer to my request:
..."Greetings from PocketGear.com.
"You will need to create an account on the new site PocketGear.com and puchase the software there.
If you have any additional questions regarding this matter please contact us and please include all previous correspondence in order to better assist you.
Thank you for shopping at pocketGear.com,
Sincerely,
XXXX YYYY
PocketGear.com
a divison of Motricity, Inc"
Now.
1. They have not migrated my Palmgear account, which they have taken over, and promised on their front side to migrate...
2. They want me to register on PocketGear and BUY the same software again, to get an else free upgrade...
3. But... they do not sell the program anymore...
I think this is outrageous! And a very, very stupid way of treating your customer. As it happens, I have a new account on PocketGear. But now I do know I WILL NOT USE IT AGAIN.
Sorry for the rant, but be warned, PocketGear is not a place to buy software.
Regards,
Anders H.
