Hello,
I bought Core Player 1.11. from PalmGear. But can not dowload the newer (and much better! 1.23) from the pocketgear>Palmgear account. So where can i then download the new core player?

Anyone? Thanks!

Regards,
Anders H.

Are you sure that you bought from PalmGear? I do not think that they ever had it as an offering. My reason for saying this is I usually bought from there but I bought CorePlayer from MobiHand. CorePlayer is definitely is not on PocketGear now.

I would suggest going to CorePlayer's site and asking this question of support. Since there is not a trial version or trial period, there isn't really a place to download without paying for it again (or as an update). Here (http://support.corecodec.com/) is the link to the CorePlayer support page.

Yes, I am sure I bought it on palmgear. It is in my palmgear- account.

And I know one can buy it on mobihand, but I do not think it is a fair trade to buy it again just for a "small" upgrade.

And yes, I have contacted support on coreplayers site. But have not got an answer yet.

Thanks for answering me!

Anders H.

From reading the CorePlayer forums, I believe that Palmgear/Pocketgear is responsible for taking care of you.

Thanks, I have also contacted Pocketgear support... Sp we will see...

By the way, pocketgear is a really bad site.
- Their leftmenu dropdown is still not correct: One has to choose the element below Palm, to get palm products.
- Their search engine does not find palmsoftware,
- Palmgear account is still not migrated into pocketgear.
- A lot of palm-software has disappeared.

If this continue - they will lose their customers!

I guess you haven't been following this fiasco in the 1src threads.... pocketgear already lost most of their Palmgear PalmOS customers back when they merged it with pocketgear and removed the freeware section. They've done some damage control since then, but not enough. Maybe change in ownership will help.

Here is PocketGears answer to my request:

..."Greetings from PocketGear.com.

"You will need to create an account on the new site PocketGear.com and puchase the software there.

If you have any additional questions regarding this matter please contact us and please include all previous correspondence in order to better assist you.

Thank you for shopping at pocketGear.com,

Sincerely,

Now.
1. They have not migrated my Palmgear account, which they have taken over, and promised on their front side to migrate...
2. They want me to register on pocketGear and buy the same software again, to get an else free upgrade...
3. But, they do not sell the program anymore...

I think this is outrageous! And a very, very stupid way of treating your customer. As it happens, I have a new account on PocketGear. But now I do know I WILL NOT USE IT AGAIN.

Sorry for the rant, but be warned, PocketGear is not a place to buy software.

Anders H.

Its really a shame what PocketGear is doing.

I have a link for the program in 4Shared, but I don't know if I can put it here. Can I?
