I just read an EBay ad for an SL10 in which the seller claimed you could listen to WAV files if you download a driver off the internet. Is this true? It's not that important to me, but it would be nice; otherwise i would've paid more for a better PDA.

The seller responded. There's actually a few audio player programs for earlier PDAs such as my SL10. You can see them on PalmGear. First, there's Audio Driver 1.2 (freeware). I didn't try that one. The reviews were not excellent, and i didn't have time for crashes. Though this is the one the seller used.
Then there's Netmite Audio player. It's shareware, but you can download a trial version. IT ACTUALLY PLAYED MUSIC! The sound was very quiet though and i don't know if you could change the volume. Also very staticky, but there definitely was music!
Next, I tried Audio Plus 1.2 (shareware). It really played music also. It includes a converter to change computer WAV files to *.wav.pdb format. I tried the included songs (wasn't gonna bother converting my own). This one allowed me to increase the volume. It actually wasn't that bad. The only thing is that when the music played, the display got a bit shaky and darker. It's like the juice had been sucked out of it. But this one actually played pretty well.
But if you really need music, get a little radio for a few bucks or something. I don't see why anyone would pay $12 for some music to come out of their cheaper PDA. It's music, but it's nothing special; only special to be coming out of your PDA.
