cookies are useful if you are visiting a site like cliesource and wish for it to remeber you as who you are. Cache, is pretty much a ram waster. disable it unless you plan on doing alot of offline surfing, or set it to the minimum of 300k for quicker loading of pages you have already been to.

The browser seems to time out a lot for me. Sometimes a stop and a reload does the trick.

Do you have the PowerSaveMode unchecked under advanced?
This would be Prefs, Network, Wireless, Settings.
Checking PowerSaveMode will kill the speed because of the constant poling it does.

It helps sometimes to tap the link again if it doesn't start loading the page right away. A lot of times if the header of the page loads and it still "waving" , pushing the up/down buttons will cause it to render a partial page while it's still downloading.
Def uncheck Powersave, it's a battery killer but things go much faster.
If you can find a copy of the TG50 Netfront install that. I can pull down the whole front page of Cliesource. It still PTL's, but it renders all the info minus some of the lower graphics.
I run the 300k cache, IMO it speeds up jumping back and forth on a forum. Less reloading of graphics and such.
A soft reset before you start surfing can also be very beneficial as well. Frequently, I soft reset before I even open up Netfront. Someone mentioned that it helps clear out the dynamic heap.
It's a finicky little browser, but really has the best features out there for Palm. Now if they'd just add landscape....:D

Yeah, powersave is off, browsing is still so-so. It really only freezes up on graphic intensive sites. Over all I'm happy with netfront. But I wouldn't say no to an update. Thanks for the info.
