sorry, only possible if you buy the japanese version of image pro convert, which costs a bomb.

The photo is saved as a PGP file right? (pg pocket)
If it is that's easy. You can do it several ways.

First way is you can save the pgp in your clie ram, and hotsync it. then open up PictureGear Lite (comes on the clie cdrom) then browse to your backup directory under your username for the palm desktop and click on the pgp picture and click save as and convert it to jpg.

Second way is to save/export the pgp onto your memory stick, then you can use msimport, then launch picture gear lite go to the memory stick and convert it to jpg.

This should be easy to do. You can take pictures directly in JPG format (called "DCF", or "digital camera format" in the camera app). Also, you can take pictures as PGP in ram, then move them to MS as "DCF" files (/"DCIF", or "digital camera image format")

You can do it within the Clie too. If you have the pgp image in RAM, just do as follows:
1. Launch PGPocket.
2. Tap Export icon at the bottom tool bar.
3. Select the PGP image in RAM that you want to Export.
4. Tap Export
5. Select DCF and tap OK.

The new image will be stored in MS under /DCIM/100MSDCF/ folder with .jpg extention (DSC#####.jpg). You can view it in PG Pocket by seleting the external card (MS) and DCF. The quality of conversion is not as good as PictureGear Lite though. However, if you are on the road with no access to your PC, it's better than nothing.

I have just started experimenting with my clie. I have some images in my pg pocket. I have installed PG Lite on my computer. My hotsync doesn't backup my image files. You said something about saving it in clie ram. I am not sure what that means. Can you please clarify?

Thanks.

Thanks. So I have them where I should. How do I get Hotsync to back them up?

After HotSync, go to your PC and check it in a folder similar to this:
C:\Program Files\Sony Handheld\your username\Backup.
