I have 64 bit vista, it seems that palms new vista hotsync software only works for 32 bit vista. (I havent tried to install it, but it says it will not work on 64 bit on the website)

Are there any methods anyone has come up with to sync their palm treo on vista 64 bit? or am I just out of luck for now?

btw I'm also hoping that whatever I use to sync it will also work with this : http://kb.mozillazine.org/PalmSync_(Thunderbird) so I can sync my thunderbird contacts

thanks

64 bit is not supported. There is some discussion on Palm's Support Forums about 64 bit but I have not read the thread.

Hi misterdanny! as Dick tracy said, vista 64-bit is not supported.

Here is an answer from a tesh rep.. this is quoted from HardbeatZ of the Palm Support Forum

"Palm Desktop 6.2 Beta is NOT compatible with Vista 64 bit at this time. This issue has been addressed to the engineers at Palm and when there is a resolution they will let us know. The best you can do for now is to use bluetooth syncing as some users have been able to do (see stickied thread above). Or if you have come to any other work around let everyone else know so that other users can benefit. But as far as USB sync with vista 64 bit, as of right now it will not work."
