Ok, I've got a couple quicktime movies. (The Matrix reloaded trailer and onboard video @ VIR racetrack) When I convert them, I can watch it copy to the mem stick. When I try to play it says it is an unsupported format. I can see the 1st frame of both movies. The Matrix trailer is .MOV and the onboard is a .QT .... what am I doing wrong?
You can download a free trial version of EO Video to convert *.mov clips to *.mpeg (mpeg1 format) and this will play on your nz90. Not sure about the QT clip you have though (try the EO with the QT but I'm just speculating)
I was actually converting the matrix reloaded trailer myself when I ran into your post so cheers and enjoy.

Ok that worked, almost. Now I get the .qt coverted, but no audio. When I convert the Matrix trailer it only seems to do 1 sec of video then jumps to the end... still, no audio is coming thru... *sigh* This is kind of frustrating!

There's a big ol' thread on the Matrix trailer in the video forum, including how to convert this trailer and also there was a link to a pre-converted trailer. Don't know if it's still up...

I agree and the Matrix trailer thing pops up quite frequently and has issues which are addressed in said thread.

Ok, thats fine, but I still am not getting audio with other .MOV or .QT files.
The Matrix trailer wasnt the issue, it's the video/audio conversion. Well, now it's just the audio...

Okay, but there are issues with the audio too. I don't get into movies, so it's one area where I am not up to steam on, but I do remember that there have been lots of discussions on it. I am not trying to give you the brush off, looking in the other forum or searching past threads can give quite a bit of info :)

Ok heh.. I'll search for that Matrix Trailer thread...
I'll cross my fingers that it will shed some light on this...
On a side note, that dolphin movie that came on the Clie CD worked fine with audio and video.. looks good too!
