I've got the above model...had it for a few years.

Never been able to connect it to my computer and am now suffering...

Two things.

I've just returned fro a couple of weeks away and found that the battery was run down. It's taken a charge, but all my data has been lost.

Is it still there and how how simple is it to retrieve?

Also, I'm sure i had a bolder type prior to the batterey loss. How do I change the typestyle?

Bear in mind that I'm not too computer literate...so be gentle with me...

What kind of computer do you have?

When the battery is drained, data is permanently erased, which is the reason for backups. You cannot get back the data after a complete battery drain.

I haven't owned a Palm OS device for awhile, so I am a bit rusty, but I don't believe you can change the font without a hack. Did you install one?

For memo you can increase the size of the font by pressing the submenu (below the home button with the house symbol) you will see options and press that to get to font.
