Hi,
I'm trying to connect my TG50 to my SE P800 via bluettoth or IR on Orange GPRS.
I am using the correct number *99***#1 etc. and have tried several init. strings. My devices are connected and the phobe starts to dial but I get an error message saying the following:
Error:Incomplete setup, Please check your network settings
Can anyone who is using Orange GPRS in the UK let me know what settings you are using ?
Thanks
Sunil

Ok here's what I've got and it definitely works for me:
In the 'Network' menu i have:
SERVICE: Orange GPRS
User Name: orange
Password: (PROMPT) -ie. left blank (just leave it blank at the prompt and press ok)
Connection: BT to Sony-E.T68i
Phone: *99***1#
Then click 'Details' and i've got:
Connection type: PPP
Idel timeout: Never
Query DNS: Ticked
IP Address: Ticked Automatic
Then click 'Script' and I have:
Send: at+cgdcont=1,"IP","orange.multimedia","0.0.0.0",0,
End: left blank
Hope that works for you. I'm actually using a T675 with the bluetooth memory stick but that shouldn't make a difference.

Sunil,
Thanks for this mate - Gave it a try but still no joy I'm afraid.
Any other Orange users out there with something different ?

Hmm sorry i couldn't be of more help, i really thought that would work for you...have you tried ringing orange wirefree on 156? They're supposed to be able to help you set up your pda for internet access. Good luck!

Are you on PAYG or contract with orange?
I assume you have paired the phone with the TG50 and you get a continuous blue light on the clie?
I'm on PAYG and used the coma connection software to set up the connection. As my phone wasn't listed I chose the first one and the changed a couple of settings. The key one, if you are on PAYG, is to change any part of the string that says 'orangeinternet..' to 'payginternet...'. If you are on contract leave it as it is.
In the 'details' section of the network settings I ticked the box to discover dns.
The web, email and ICQ now all work fine. Just got the sms working too!
Good luck and will try and help more if I can.
Paul
Thought I'd post a reply to the quoted post below in case I'm not the only one looking- the settings below are working for me using a Clie NZ90 and a Sony Ericsson T610 on Orange in the UK (should be enough info there for anyone doing a search). Mainly it was the script that was giving me grief - without it I got the error message too. Happily surfing away now though!

thanks people was having the same trouble myself conencting to the net using orange GPRS, T675 with BT MS and a siemens S55. it seems to be all in the script and orange 156 seem not to be able to give you the right one. can confirm that the one given by sunil works fine thanks.
however now i am on the net i seem to only be able to open pages from the avantgo page. i cant seem to open sites by typing in the address it just comes up "error 5459: unknown network error has occurred"
is this just the settings of avantgo?
