You mean you want to change the built in alarm sounds?
You can get them in Palmgear.

Even those alarm sounds require polyphonic speaker if I'm not mistaken. The SJ30 won't support that.
If you just want to get a better sound selection try GeekSounds 2.4 (http://www.palmgear.com/software/showsoftware.cfm?sid=75605620030109120040&prodID=8549). There are plenty of cool sound even for non-polyphonic speaker in there. It's a freeware and just expand the list of sounds in the WA Clock to 117 different themes, so no icon to tap.

if it's a movie and you wish to compress it, try virtualdub, its a great free product where you can convert a lot of movies to an extremely large amount of codecs

though it's for movies, there may be better ones just for audio

but yea, try geeksounds 2.4, because it can't be very easy to make your own sounds, though there may be a program designed for palm to make alarm sounds

CL!!! What is wrong with you? Not only can you not condense the six posts into what should be one, you provide useless info!
Forget the codecs - just get GeekSounds - it is a great ringset. I've only stopped using it because I can use Sony Sound Convertor to convert MIDIs into polyphonic tones for my SJ-33 ...
