Hi everybody!
I have simple question:
How big SD card can I use with my LD?
I'm a begginer so any magical tricks to use 32GB are not an option. Simply I want to buy one of ebay, insert it into SD card slot, install Tom Tom Maps on it and run it with my GPS (Holux m1200). I know I can use 2GB for sure, but what about 4 or 8GB SDHC? (yes, yes fromating stuff probably hehe).
Just form maps mostly (I've read that LD works faster from SD than from HD)
Thank you!
;)

SDHC is not supported on the LifeDrive.
There are some non-standard 4GB SD cards around that should work, be sure to get faster speed.

Yes. I've noticed that owning this device is a jurney itself. No wonder why my brother gave it to me for free with that devilish smile which only I could discover.

Big thanks again!
I will consider exchanging MD for CF later. First I jusst want to run it as my GPS, then as my manager (by the way any decent time management and planning software out there?).
Replacing MD with CF... Can I use there SDHC or what? I've seen software on previous posts for that. I'm surprised that MD uses same connectors for CF (or I'm wrong). Anyway thanks again!
Let the jurney begin!

I'm interested with first two. I hope they are not SDHC (everywhere says is SD).
Do you know if they are going to work on my beloved LD?
Big thatnks and that is all!

No direct experience with this card, but I have heard reviews which said that it was slow in Palm's.

Though not in the description, if you look close at the image you will see that this is a SDHC, thus not supported in the LD. I do not think that SanDisk ever made a technically non-compliant 4GB SD.
