Hi all not much time ago my TX was totaly destroyed by Mercedes ML320 it was just under the wheel)) I found out about it by not plesant noise under wheel) Nevertheless palm didn't even swith off. Of course screen became one big lake of crystals and cover opened with out screw driver but it worked. I bought palm with broken motherboard and devided to recover my old one. Now I have two problems, and need your help. Firstly TX's wi-fi stoped working. So when I tap it to on palm reboot, noneof resets help, so I suppose that wi-fi chip desoldered from the motherboard under the pressure. So please tell me where I can found this chip in order to heat it and solder again (skills present). Another question is about digitizer I suppose  .. When I taptoscreen for about minet-two palm reboot, when I just read using5 for nav for example it works very good, but such a handling is only with powerdigi installed. This unit is hardly-usable withput powerdgi but it make palm to reset even after hardreset

The wlan module is to the... right of the sd card slot, if you are looking from the front, near a blue module named GigaRot or something like that (that's the bluetooth module). It's labelled Sy-Chip 8083 or something similar. I'll provide pictures when I get home.
You can order a new digitizer/lcd combo from PDAparts.com, and i'm SURE cms is willing to tell you other places to get a new set. ;)

First TXH for reply.. No need for pics, I opened palm lot's of times and now where syschip is, but when I try to push down on it via finger wi-fi still not work, seems I was wrong. New parts are not so interest, cause I have one more new palm TX and HAD lot's of parts, so I just wanted to use what I had. Do you think that digitizer could cause resets?
