Mobipocket (a terrific free ebook/doc reader) has a pretty neat feature which I'm sure many people probably never tried.
The "publish" feature of Mobipocket's Windows Desktop app can easily convert a .html or a .txt file into a .prc PDA doc file.
Until you've tried it, you won't be able to appreciate how great it is !
The way I use it, is I will open a blank Microsoft Office Word document, I will then copy/paste info from either a text document or a webpage into the Word document. I then click on Word's "Save As" and save my Word document as a .HTML file. I then use the Mobipocket Windows app to "publish" my file from .HTML to .PRC format. I then install the newly created .PRC doc file to my PDA and view it in Mobipocket's PDA reader. The formatting of the PDA doc is spectacular !!
I know programs like "Plucker" can import webpages into your PDA with less effort, but if you only want a specific portion of the webpage, you can just copy/paste that portion into a Word document, save it as a .HTML doc, and use Mobipocket's publish feature. Plucker grabs the entire page, which may have more info than you want, like advertisements, and links to other websites, etc.
If you have Mobipocket ... try the publish feature at least once .. to appreciate how useful it can be !!
