Has anybody noticed the total lack of current info on PIC?? They used to be the best source for all things palm. Now your lucky if they update the page a couple of times a week!

ClieSource is now my most visited site, the rumor mill is probably the most entertaining aspect of recent note.  :p:eek:;)

Yeah, I noticed it too. Does anyone visit BrightHand? Are they taking over where PIC is leaving off?

seems like it. With Ed Hardy there now it only seems to make sense.

I have to agree. The Ed-Steven combination of Brightand makes it a killer site for PDA news. Ryan of PIC on the other hand is I would say doing well. I'm sure he's really busy but I do email both Ryan and Ed when there is big news over with the Clie, that is if they get the news earlier. I've met both of them and they're two cool guys.

Three sites I go to for news: Brighthand, PIC, Infosync. :)

You people are nuts. There's hardly anything going on in the Palm world at the moment, and I've heard at least 5 different new CLIE rumors, why should Ryan have to post all or any of them? Wait till some of the rumors are confirmed, and then he'll post something.

PIC really took a big hit when Ed left, just as PDABuzz went downhill after Wes was fired. Too bad, because I used to like both of those sites.

PIC posts information on ALL PalmOS devices. Not just those made by Palm. That's why you would expect them to have some information.

On the other hand, it has been said elsewhere in ClieSource, that PIC was asked by Sony to take down pictures of the NX70 before in was official. It could be that Ryan is just avoiding making Sony upset.

Given the fact that Ed left and now Ryan does both his old job at PIC and Ed's job, he is doing an adequate job of keeping up (and probably working harder than ever).

Maybe someone here could convince Ryan to hire Wes Salmon (formerly of PDABuzz). That would make PIC the juggernaut it previously had been.

Next to cliesource, I like reading news and rumors from brighthand, PIC, geek.com, mobilemag.com and infosync.

Correct me if am mistaken, Wes Salmon has his own BLOG site at wessalmon.com, check it out. I used to read a lot on PDABuzz too which has an overwhelming registered members totalling over 35000, a number which Cliesource may reach before the end of this year.

I wonder what da Buzz's ACTIVE member count looks like though; seems like everyone I know of that used to visit there no longer does. Not to say that the Cliesource member list counts only active members either, but I would guess the CS active member count would give PDABuzz a run for it's money.

Ahhh but, it seems CliePlanet has daily updates....As does InfoSync, as does ClieSource, as does Brighthand.....

There is a lot going on in this space - especially when you include Bluetooth and WiFi stuff coming out almost daily. Not to mention that all those 10,000 Palm developers pushing out new and improved products!!
