HotSync/Back-up question

Just looking ahead: should I have a major crash on my machine and I decide to do a hard reset and then sync with my computer, will all the previous data (from the last sync) be re-installed on my T|X?

All the data on your device with the Backup Bit set will be reinstalled. Which is not everything. I recommend the excellent free NVBackup to backup and restore everything.

I actually have backup turned off on my hotsyncs to speed up the sync.
