Hello all,
Forgive the newbie post, but I did search the boards and the manuals and did find an answer to the following question:
Is there anything like the high-resolution assist that was on my SJ20 on my NX-60? I recently became a very happy owner of an NX-60, but I find that some of my favorite apps (mainly old games) will not work on this CLIE. On my old SJ20, I could just disable High-Res Assist for that application, and they'd work fine. So, I ask you- is there a similar thing I can disable on an application-by-application basis in the NX-60?
Thanks in advance for any replies. I appreciate the help.

The answer is no on all accounts, sorry! It has been eliminated in OS5, different processor and who knows what else.

I know what you can do, write the developers of those programs and request OS5 compatibility:)

I haven't had a single app that hasn't worked on OS5, weird I guess.

What games don't work?

Yellow-
The game I miss the most is an old Blackjack freeware game. It was just called Blackjack, I believe. You can see the cards as they're being dealt, but then they disappear, and nothing I can do with get them back.
I've blown many an hour playing blackjack, so this was kind of a disappointment. All in all, though, a small price to pay for getting everything else good about the NX-60.

technology move forward. As it does users find more stuff to do on it that makes it obsolete.
i believe this is a subset from supply and demand. Think about roads:
as the gov. build more roads more traffic is generated which soon makes the road full and in need of another route to the same destination.
supply and demand. something some companies just dont get.
