Hotsync doesn't detect Clie!!

Hi,

I am new to Palm pilots, and I'm having a problem where my PDA is not syncing with the PC when I press the HotSync button sometimes. It will almost always work when I reboot the computer, but then after about 20 minutes on the computer when I want to sync again......nothing happens when I press the HotSync Button and I have to reboot again to make it work. Has anyone had this problem? What are the causes of this problem and How would I fix this problem? Any advice would help, Thanks

I recently had the same problem. I had just hard resetted my Clie and I was shocked to see that hotsync didn't detect my Clie either. So I checked the USB cable in the back of the computer and switched where I had it plugged in and after that everything worked fine.
