I'm looking for a guide to open the TH55.
After installing a stupid program (MahJong 13) the TH hanged up and no way to switch it off ..... circular palm logo stayed switch on :(
I decided to remove the battery.
This worked .... after I replaced it inside ...
But now when I switch off the pda it seems there is nomore battery :(
When I put the adaptor to charge it, it won't charge ...
I'm sure I have done something wrong and now I have to open to see. Is it possible it's a inner flat cable related problem ?
What do you think about ?
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance

I have opened the TH55 and seen there is nothing wrong with the flat cables near the battery slot.
The battery is charged. I verified it with a voltmeter but it's not recognized anymore and the TH won't charge it.
If I put the wall adaptor the TH works flawlessly.
If I removed it the TH switch off and I have to restart from zero; time and configuration are lost.
A dead power manager seems to be the problem.
Give me your advice please.
Is there a solution to this problem ?
Thanks in advance

You didn't try a reset? if the soft reset doesn't work you may need to do a hard reset (which unplugging the battery will also work)

Did you wait 30secs after unplugging the battery before putting it back in? Sometimes that wait would fix some issues after removing the battery
I've seen this problem in several TH55s that I repair. Mostly they due to the motherboard got zapped. Replacing the motherboard fixes it. I got plenty of those motherboards if anyone needs it for $50 each.
