I cannot find the sheet that came with the cable from Supplynet.com. I need to know the EXACT settings for both the phone and the clie...someone help me!

I also use the LG5350 with my nx70. I like it, but it's not as fast as I expected, but then again, neither is the wifi card.
Here are the instructions I was sent:
On your cell phone, you also need to make a couple of changes. From the
main menu select 8 (settings) and then 9 (setup) then 4 (data-in). This
will take you to the data configuration area. Change the connection to
(always), change method to RS232 and change speed to 115200 bps.
On your PDA, set modem speed to 115200. Dial-in number is #777 and userID
and password are both left blank. This should do it!

Thanks...the clie signs on...but once I start web Pro or NetFront, the clie then freezes. Is there something else I'm supposed to do in order to make the connection work?

I'm not sure the above instructions were explicit enough. I use an NR70 and it works just fine, so here are my settings. I hope it translates into OS5.
Under system Preferences, go to Connection, hit new and create a profile called "Vision" (or whatever you choose to name it). Settings should be:
Conntect to: PC
Via: Cradle/Cable
Hit edit, and the settings there should be:
Speed: 115,200
Flow Ctl: Automatic
Now got to Network in preferences and create a new profile. Settings there should be:
Service: Vision (or whatever you choose to name it)
User Name: [your Vision user name]
Password: assigned [enter your Vision password]
Connection: Vision (or whatever you named the above Connection profie)
Hit details:
Connection type: PPP
Idle timeout: 1 Minute
Query DNS: Checked
IP Adress: Checked
Hit script and create the following:
Send: ATDT#777
Send CR:
End:
Hit OK. Now try to connect again. Now does it work? It works for me, so I hope it works for you too.

What are your phone settings?? I tried doing the same thing you did with your NR70V..it ends up establishing a connection, but as soon as I start netfront..it freezes and eventually posts a network timeout.

I don't remember having to change any settings on my phone, but they are I think as infty describes above. Follow his instructions to get to "Data-in".
1 Connection: off (I hope I didn't inadvertantly change this setting?)
2 Method: RS-232C
3 Speed: 115200
Maybe the problem is Netfront. I've never tried it, but I've heard it's snarky. Have you tried another browser, or tried an e-mail client? I'm not sure what will run on OS5 though. Blazer is available free through SprintPCS. Log onto you account at their web site. Under "My Options" you should see a link to Blazer. Palm Eudora is a free e-mail client:
http://www.eudora.com/internetsuite/eudora4palm.html
Again, not sure if it works with OS5.
