Hi,
I've just released BtToggle 1.7 beta 1. For those of you not familiar with BtToggle, it extends battery life by keeping Bluetooth off until you need it, and prevents accidental button presses from turning your TG50 on (ever hit the "Record" button while taking it out of your pocket?).
From the release notes:
New Features
Bluetooth is automatically turned on when dialing a phone number from the address book, as long as "Apps needing Bluetooth" is enabled. I found a way to do this without replacing the built-in address book! Sorry, can't turn it off again automatically (Just enable "Turn off when going to sleep").
Bug Fixes
If "Apps needing Bluetooth" is enabled, and a soft-reset (press the reset button on the back of the Palm) is performed, then Ir beaming - both send and receive - might not work. This happens on the Tungsten T only. This has been fixed
If "Extend battery life" is disabled and your handheld is reset then BtToggle's Bluetooth functionality no longer works. This has been fixed.
If "Toggle if hard key pressed" is enabled, then the selected key will always be able to turn the Palm on, even if it has been disabled in the "Extend battery life" screen. This has been fixed
Thanks,
Peter
