Hi,
I'm located in Germany with two Palm T|X (EFGIS) with "Security Panel Update 1.0", "Palm TX Enterprise Security Update" and "Daylight Saving Time Update". One is operated in English, the other in German.
They each synch with two different PCs (OS XP Prof SP2 and SW in English and German) both using Outlook 2003 SP3. IMO latest patches applied on both systems.
The time(zone) set on our Palms and PCs is GMT+1 (e.g. Berlin, Frankfurt) and all observe DST. The sync of calendar items should also observe the appropriate time zones (feature ticked on in the calendar preferences and the Palm calendar conduit).
I noticed that dates with time zones created in the period of the coming summer time (e.g. 4/7/2008 [or as we'd say 4.7.2008]) are synced with an offset between Palm and Outlook. E.g.
(Time zone abbreviations (http://www.timeanddate.com/library/abbreviations/timezones/))
Palm ---> Outlook
11:00 ---> 11:00 (am, no time zone set on Palm ==> OK)
11:00 CEST ---> 14:00 (2:00 pm, +3 hours offset, should be 11:00)
11:00 BST ---> 13:00 (1:00 pm, +1 hour offset, should be 12:00)
Outlook ---> Palm
11:00 ---> 9:00 am (-2 hours offset, should be 11:00 am)
I already tested with a hard reseted T|X, different Desktop SW (4.1.4E, 6.2) without any success. This issue doesn't seem to be new as I came across some (German) forum threads already, but the only "solution" recommended is to switch off the timezone feature. But as I now and than have to travel across time zones this is not an option.
