Has anyone here tried the new JackFlash Light v3.0b7 or the full beta version (registered version) on your SJ33 yet? Does it see any free / usable FlashROM?

Yes!!! We have flash. I just tried it on my Colorado purchased, US model, can't believe it has flash SJ33 Clie. Thanks for the post, I just assumed that since nobody had mentioned anything this far that the US models didn't have it.

How much flash do you have available?

LAME!!! 63K

I posted after I tried the JackFlash Light. I thought that the 63k of flash only pertained to the trial version. But that is the flash amount! I purchased their bundle and installed it.
I only have 63k of flash.
JackSprat is not supported.
JackSafe does not work on the device either.

What a dissapointment.

I emailed their support and will post their response.

Thanks for the info. I have emailed them about SJ33 support in JackSprat and they did reply saying that the upcoming release of JackSprat will fully support all OS4 CLIES except for some SJ22's, SJ30's, SJ20's, and SL10's.

I just tried the new JackFlash Light on my SJ33 and it says that I only have 64Kb of available FlashROM. I wonder why that is? Is that a limitation of the "Light" version of JackFlash? It will only let you see 64Kb of FlashROM? I really want to get rid of Bejeweled. I have other things that I'd rather have in there...

64k is all of the available rom until they update jacksprat. I got an email from the developers stating that they are currently focusing on an OS5 version of jackflash but still have plans of updating jacksprat for sj33's in the future.

Isn't this new version of JackFlash supposed to show you what items in the SJ33 are in the FlashROM? If so, then it's telling me that nothing on my SJ33 are in FlashROM. I sorted it so it shows me "All in Flash" and it doesn't show anything... :( I wonder if this is just another limitation of the "Light" version of JackFlash?

I believe that you should only expect to see apps that you have added to rom via JF. JackSprat will show you all of the built in apps etc that are resident in rom

That's what they told me too. Here is what they said to me in their reply from when I asked them about JackFlash and JackSprat compatibility with the SJ33 (I replaced my info with x's):
------------------------------------------------------------------------

JackFlash 3.0b5 supports the SJ33. JackSprat will
be updated to support the SJ33 with its next release.

Brad.
