Hi,

I'm just wondering if anyone knows of a good, possibly free video player for a Palm Tungsten E? I had a Zire 72 and I ran TCPMP on it for videos but on the Tungsten it won't play at all saying "Out of Memory!" or just playing slowly and choppy.

I know there's Kinoma Video Player but I'm not really interested in buying a copy just yet. Does anyone know of any alternatives?

Thanks,
Todd

I have been using Kinoma player on my T|E without problems.

Try MoreHeapHack for the errors. It can be found at palmopensource (google it...)

WARNING: do NOT try on ANY NVFS device. there is a BRICKING possibility. for those, use UDMH...

There is also CorePlayer, and mmPlayer. (both shareware)

They're not error messages from PalmOS but from TCPMP. It will say "Out of Memory!" in small text near the top-right corner and show a black video screen.

MHH should still fix it. It gives TCPMP more memory to play with

(As said, keep it off NVFS :D)

I'll give it a shot.
