HI I am a new T675C owner, and wondered if there's a way to jazz up the main operating system so I can have picture backgrounds or different icons. I've heard skins mentioned and not sure what to do or where to get them from. any help appreciated.

also, i have a sony memory stick camera. when i put the stick into the clie the quality isnm't that great. any ideas on how to improve this as want to use it as a viewer for pictures taken.

You will need a third-party launcher that supports backgrounds and skins (themes). I suggest ZLauncher: http://www.zztechs.com/en/zlauncher/index.php4

However, there are several other launchers that do what you would like as well. There has been much discussion here at CS about launchers, you could try using the search feature.

Also, get a 3rd party viewer like AcidImage for viewing the pictures, you'll be a lot happier.

Checkout the software page on my website. I list all the apps I currently use, and other apps that I no longer use, with a brief description/assessment for each. I have a T665C, basically the same device as yours. But I'll give another vote for ZLauncher up front!

I cannot recommend ZLauncher enough. It is fantastic and works really well. They continually upgrade and improve the features and functionality of it without having to pay the upgrade prices. It also happens to be the least expensive one out there right now for the money ($12.00).

Another very good alternative is Yishow.

Check out some very cool skins at www.Yibing.net.

Very functional software including a great little utility from copying files from MS to MS.

Zlauncher will jazz up your Clie for sure. Makes it more fun and easier to use. And as said before - its only $12.00 - the best bargain available.

both yishow and zlauncher are very nice launchers. I would recomend zlauncher because the support is much better *some people haven't heard back from yishow in several months* and it appears to be more stable than yishow. I used yishow for a few months, and it cause resets almost once a day at that time... I tried other launchers very quickly after that.
