Find "query"

I have a Palm t/x and when I do a "Find" anything and everything that was once in memory or on a memory card still shows up in the search. These items have been deleted but they still show up. How do i get rid of them in the "search"?

First, how did you delete the old files or programs? Second, are you referring to the global search that Palm OS can do (the little magnifying glass at the bottom left)?

I am refering to the global search (the little magnifying glass)!
The files were stored on a 1 gig memory card. I deleted the files by reformating the card.

What happens if you just remove the card?

Did you reformat via the Palm or Windows?

Just removing the card does not change the content of the "find". I have used several other cards with different files and those still show up also.

I used the palm to reformat!
