Happily (at the time) I purchased a used NX73V from a supplier from a website. But, the pda only works when its connected to a plugged in charger.

This means, I think, that the battery is worn out. So, I'm getting a replacement battery (that works for all NX type Clies). How do I "install" this battery? What steps do I follow when I get the battery and start to put it into the NX73V?

Thanks, David :)

simply taking off the battery door and pulling it out does not work very well. I ahve changed the batteries a couple of times in both ny NX80's as well as my old 73.
You can try simply opening the battery door and using a very small pair of tweezers to disconnect the battery terminal. It is right on the LHS right behind the battery door. then gently pulling out the old battery. I had to open my case on my 80's because the battery fit was too tight to to pull out. then slide in your new battery and plug in the connector. IF you have to open it up then you need a very small TORX screwdriver and remove the 2 screws on the bottom back, the one between the jog wheel and power button on the side and the one above the headphone/remote on the other side and then gently LIFT the bottom portion open so that you can get to slip the battery in. This makes the connection MUCH easier

Thank you so much. I think that sounds like a good solution.
