I'm looking for an instant messaging program for my Palm LifeDrive over WiFi.

JiveTalk for Blackberry is a multi-chat client that incorporates Y!, AIM, MSN, G-Talk, etc.

Something like that would be great for Palm.

Thanks for any suggestions.

WOW! This looks great and sounds fantastic!! Just what I was looking for! And less than 1/2 the price of JiveTalk for BB.

Thank you much!

If you want free: Gizmo (http://gizmoproject.com/treo) now makes a free client based on Chatopus that can handle most protocols (and will soon handle the rest). I've switched from Mundu to Gizmo as I like having access to my Jabber accounts and GTalk account.

Nice _Em! Thanks.

I got the trial of Mundu and found that I can only use one user ID per medium. I have two AIM accounts (one for work contacts and the other for friends). I can only log on to one at any given time.

I have only dabbled with Gizmo on my PC, so this should be fun. (Trillian is my main multi-chat client).

Anyway, I will check if Gizmo allows more freedom in this. Thanks!

(mundu does have a nice interface, though).

weŽre talking about Chatopus 2.51, right?

within the account setup screen, youŽll put the server address as the URL, but without the leading "http://", i.e. as in "alpha-labs.net", in the second window your username without anything else, because chatopus will build your jabber address out of those, as in "user@jabber.org". so, assuming that your 1src username is your jabber username as well, and that your jabber server is usually to be found under "http://alpha-labs.net", you should type that as described above to get the final result of "marts_8@alpha-labs.net"

EDIT: youŽll get further info here. (http://www.chatopus.com/support/getting_started.html)

is there a way to keep an IM client connected over wifi, even after the screen goes off?
