Hi, I am currently an NZ90 user, but have been discovering some of the following and would like some input on them(I know it's a long one, but please read through and post replies):
1. I do not use the camera on a daily basis. I might even go up to 1 month without using the camera function, except for maybe a 'pity' shot here and there. I also feel that the video capture is useless for getting anything 'great', but good for something like a family reunion or something. Anytime I am going to need a camera, I usually bring my Cybershot, which takes better shots and has better settings and I would feel better letting other people use without supervision. lol
2. The size, for me, makes taking my Clie with me EVERYWHERE somewhat of a burden. Sometimes I feel that bringing it into a store or to a meeting might be more trouble than it's worth, then I end up needing it for something. I like putting it in my pants pocket, but this unit, for my tastes, is too big for my pockets, comfortably. I just feel that in having a Personal Assistant, I would be taking it and using it almost everywhere. I guess I am just more sensitive to the actual bulkiness of this unit, compared to other CLIEs I have used.
3. I feel a lot more conscious about it when I am out and about, being that it costs $800.00 and I don't wanna drop it, bump it or worse, break it.
This past weekend, while out-of-town, I used a TG50 and noticed that it's a lot easier to carry, due to it being smaller and more compact. Quickly jotting a note was also easy, since there was no having to open, flip and turn into tablet mode. I just yank it out and jot the note down. Also, while it was fully charged before the trip, I forgot my charger and didn't dip below 80% the whole time and used it pretty extensively, testing video clips and photo albums, comapring to see if I would 'really' miss the larger screen. Turned out, I COULD live without the larger screen for the most part. The only part I would miss is the WiFi not being available, since I don't own a Bluetooth phone and I don't know how long until Nextel releases one with BT.
So my conundrum here is, although I love owning the NZ and having the top-of-the-line, should I keep this NZ and live with the slight shorcomings, or should I sell my NZ and become a TG50 user?
What would you do?
Anyone also having similar thoughts?
Any advice would greatly be appreciated.
Thanks in advance for your patience in reading this post and replying!
