HTml Viewers and Plucker

Hey,
I can't for the life of me get plucker to work on my Xp machine and my NX, i was wondering if there were any peeps out there who could gimme a hand with it (ie step my step instructions, hey I'll be the first to admit I'm stupid). And if you guys could, gimme some input on what the best offline HTML viewers are out there.

Even though I am a heavy user of Plucker, I think ISilo is generally better. The only thing in which Plucker is better as far as I know is searching--and that only with my unofficial (so far) build (I added a very fast armlet search, and also added a multiple-terms-in-paragraph search).

i dunno, there is this great hikes site that i really want to be able to access with me palm. There is, i gather, some coding that needs to be done before it works. I was just hoping for some step be step instructions for how i would get a site readable with me nx.

I also cannot get Plucker to work on my Clie NX60 I downloaded the high res version of the viewer and the most recent version of the desktop app. I installed the viewer files to my Memory Stick and when I try reading the demo website. I get the screen "This device cannot handle ZLib compressed documents"

That's a known issue, I think. You need to download the latest version. Perhaps the one on hires.plkr.org will work fine for you. (I have an unofficial version including my fast armlet search, and I guess I can send the binaries to that if you email me, but unreleased in-house versions are risky.)

did you install the required zlib?

I think I downloaded the zlib that has the armlet search but It still has that message "This device cannot handle ZLib compressed documents"when I try to read the test page (clinicalexam.com).
Maybe i put the Zlib file in the wrong folder?
I have the plucker viewer for Hisrez+ in my launcher folder on my Memory stick and the Zlib file in the same folder. The Plucker site did not really say where to stick the Zlib file.

It should work if you move zlib to RAM. You can still run Plucker off card if you want. But I run both out of RAM and put my docs in the \palm\programs\plucker folder. (or just send to card through Hsync/install manager) The viewer is pretty small size. It's a little tricky (it is free!), but i think its probably one of the best palm apps around.

The hi-res version in the distribution on plkr.org didn't work on my NX. The version at hires.plkr.org did work, I think. If you want, just email me (ap85@georgetown.edu) and I can you an unreleased private build I have that works for me.

Thanks Pruss I finally figured out what was wrong I had to install the Zlib on to my palms Internal RAM in order to Render the information.
