I picked up a new NX60 today at Fry's for $297. I'm moving up from a Palm IIIc with a bad digitizer.

My primary desires were the big screen and virtual grafitti. The new T series model that is rumored sounds great, but I bet it's going to be more than $399, probably $499. I didn't want to spend that much. Wireless is somewhat interesting, but most sites just don't work well for me on the small screen PDA screen. (Tried Toshiba e740 on loan over the weekend.)

My main concern with the NX60 is the amount of memory. I am going to run out of space soon? Is it easy to run programs off the memory stick or the CF Card (with driver..)?

Any programs, enhancements, or hacks I should get?

Thanks,

Mark

You have NO idea how much better NetFront on a CLIE is, do you? PPC sucks for web browsing compared to it. Here is a screenshot:

Thanks to Bosco for the screenies

JackFlash will give you 4.8MB of ROM space to utilize. I just did it today and 8.9MB free with 100+ apps :)!

PowerRun moves the apps and the db's to the MS. When you run an app, it copies everything to RAM, when your done it moves the app and its associated database back to the memory stick and also updates it. Some apps can even sync from the memory stick.

Othe applications can be place in the /Palm/Launcher folder and run from there.
