what's the largest memory stick A nr70v can accept?

I had heard that there was a limit... and I'm getting a free 265mb stick in the mail soon.

also, what;s the deal with the different kinds? Since I'm on a mac, I'm not using aatracs, just vanilla mp3s.. I'm guessing the white MSs are off limits.

The NR70 cannot use MSPro format sticks. This limits you to 128MB for regualr MS (I guess there is a double sided 128MB stick that requires you to flip a switch to use the other side for a totla of 256MB but 128MB at a time) . The white sticks you are reffering to are memory gate and they are made for use with Sony's attrack format, but it will accept any other format that regular MS's will take.

Dude, a free 256 stick? how's that?

I also hear there will be one of those Memory Stick Selects (the ones with the switch) that will have four 128MB banks for a total of 512MB.

the guy who sold me the clie forgot to include the MS as promised...

I dunno if it's a pro or double sided or anyhting..

let's pretend I just slap it in there, and it's beyond the 128mb limit... what happens?

A pro stick just won't work

A dobule-sided stick will be 128, after you take it out, flip the switch, you can use the other half of the memory (another 128).

So, you can't go over the 128 mb limit.

well, we'll see...

worst case scenario is that I sell the stick on ebay.

Oh, hey.. do the bluetooth MSs have any storage cpacity, or are they strictly bluetooth?
