View Full Version : What language to use for Palm programming?

I've recently started to learn C++ and most of the motivation I have for sticking with it is derived from the prospect of being able to someday be able to create programs for my Clie. However, I've read that C++ is kind of ill-suited for palm programming, so I was wondering what people used on these forums. Do most people just use C or write pared down C++ code? Is there another language out there to develop for palm OS that I'm not aware of? Any info or links to resources would be appreciated.

P.S. - Are there any cheap or free C/C++ compilers for Palm OS?

C is the way to go. It's not object-oriented like C++ but it works.
