Does flip cover flip back?

I really like what the TG has to offer but was wondering if that hard cover flips back or if you could remove it (how much time does that take?). If it doesn't, you may as well have an nr or nx then (w/bigger screen) but they cost more.. Is there a third party flip cover? My NR70v is having some issues and I'm thinking about trading it in (w/PPS) for a tg or just wait for whatever is coming next.

No, the cover only opens about 3/4 of the way. It's actually annoying, as it gets in the way of the keyboard and other things if you set it down on a flat surface.

You can take it off easily, but getting it on is a pain, and it looks funny with it off.

I'm considering taking mine off permanently anyway, as it gets in the way too much.

When it's up, does it flop back down easily? Or is it sorta locked in when it's up?

there is somekind of spring mechanism to hold it at the open position. plue holding the cover close
