Where to get latest Net Front?

Hi,
Where can we get the latest version of Net Front,
I have the one from Dmitry's installer but i've seen others with a later version,

He's probably talking about the version released on here by JAmerican a while back -- it was a few point releases newer than what was in your installer at the time. However, I thought you updated the installer to include it.

Dmitry, I'm just curious if you updated it in your installer anywhere, (the one I have is the older version)
also, can i just install it to my T|X like this? (after i've already installed the installer from Dmitry)

If yes, I dont understand why i get the message that this is for clie only?!

Yes, (I have the TX2 ROM from Dmitry,
and MaxX is included in it,)
I tried lot of different ways, including clean installation, but I can't get it to work,
This is the message that i get:
You cannot execute NetFront v3.1 for CLIE on this model.

Strange; it runs with no issues on my TX. Did you install the other version of NetFront (from the installer) first? You also need all the SonyFonts for it to work correctly.

my 320x320 installer works on palms (not treos) and treo 650, 680 does not work

...of course, you need to install NetFrontInstaller first in order to get the support files that make NetFront work on non-Clie devices.

i grabbed the file linked in #4 post, extracted it and added to quick install - but hotsync log says it is an invalid file type and will not install it...

am i doing something wrong?

No... you just can't install it via hotsync; you have to install it some other way (WiFile, SD Card, etc.)

I never bothered to update my overflow (I have my own custom installer, but I never used it) as I just use NVBackup to restore my custom set off of a card anyway (overwriting what's installed by the overflow archive).

copied the .prc to my SD, but it doesn't show up in the launcher. used FileZ to locate it on the card and tried to copy and then to move the netfront.prc to the device - both attempts generating an error message and transfer was stopped...

any ideas where i might be going wrong? or is that linked file corrupt?

Try installing it after a warm reset, then reset again.
