will ibm microdrive work on clie nx70?

i am gettin a trade deal and it includes a microdrive 1gb cf.... will that work fine in a nx70 for mp3/movie use!? i will really appreciate if somebody can answer this for me! thank you

The microdrive is read only as it draws too much power to write. Some say theirs have worked, but most say it trashes the drive when writing to it
