Can I swap my T3 batt for that of a Z71?

My beloved T3 recently died out of a starved-to-death battery, so I was wondering if it will be possible for me to install the battery of a Zire 71 into my T3. Has anyone done this before?

Apparently both units carry the same 900 mah rating but on the PDA parts there's a warning about the T3 battery not compatible with the Zire one. Do you think I would be possible to harm my unit if I do the swap?
